    Princess

Happier than the rest of us?

    (Prinsessa. Onnellisempi kuin yksikaan meista)

    Director: Arto Halonen

The Princess is based on a true story of a former cabaret dancer Anna Lappalainen ending up in a mental institution who seems convinced that she is a princess from the Buckingham Palace. It is a story about a woman whom society doomed ill, but who used her delusion to create a new world for the other asylum inmates that is fuller, deeper and in many ways far more humane than anything the institution offers them.
